Remember, that most VMware products come with a 60 Day Trial that can be utilized with all features enabled. So don’t be afraid to try it out yourself!
Wess is back to wrap up the XBOX 360 arcade fightstick mod.
The buttons and joysticks are Suzo-Happ’s which you can find here http://na.suzohapp.com/
Obviously we would have liked to… ehh nevermind you’ll just have to watch!

To be involved in the “Live Show” will a mustache be required?
Great episode! The plants are awesome; I’m going to claim as being a pepper. Hot and spicy.
Great episode and content overall, just a few suggestions. Level your mics, get a good camera to go over or next to monitors when shooting a picture in picture segment, so we can see faces instead of backs.
Wess, on the arcade stick, I would have allowed for a small overhang, 1/2 to 1 inch on the left right and front of the box, instead of using the aluminum I would have routed the material for t-molding such as this http://www.twistedquarter.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=14 and instead of the acrylic on the top I would have had an adhesive design printed on heavy duty vinyl and applied it to the top prior to drilling, using painters tape to mind the holes. Any damage would have been covered by the lips of the buttons/stick anyway. Finally, I would have fitted a hinge at the rear and a latch at the front so I could open the unit and work on it’s guts easier. The added advantage of being able to split the unit later and use it in a desktop arcade cabinet or a cocktail unit would be awesome.
Yeah, the plants are kicking ass! As far as mustache required… could be a good ground rule to have… start growing.
I can agree with you on almost all your points… but its like Wess said… we’re human… also, I think you’ll like one of my upcoming projects… I’m not sure if I’ll start it in Ep5 or not… we’ll see. Though I’d like to throw it back your way, take Wess up on his challenge… show him what you can do (key word: do, not just say)
Mike: You absolutely have to use the plants to make salsa.
Awesome episode guys! I’m definitely going to setup a similar ESXi home lab once I get the funds!
Hey Matt, what are you going to use for storage with your VMware project? I’m upgrading my current lab and would like to work with SRM. I considering building an OpenFiler box with SSD and using iSCSI.
