| Matt Lestock started his career in internet media by hosting a wildly popular adult oriented talk show for nearly 6 years. After a chance encounter with Hak5, he joined the cast in August of 2007. Focusing on all things related to systems administration, Matt has proven that you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to succeed in the world of tech. He filmed his last episode with Hak5 in December of 2009. When not filming or recording, Matt is a Lead Infrastructure Architect for a software consulting firm where he also manages that company’s infrastructure. |

Mike Knight started his tech ambitions writing code at the BASIC prompt of an Apple IIgs after school. He moved on to maintaining his bands’ websites. As a user, he was on top of trending topics and security flaws within systems from an early age. After years of trying to make music for a living, he realized the money wasn’t there and went into the information security field. He currently works as a Forensics Analyst and Incident Responder. | ||
| Wess Tobler found his geekdom somewhat late compared to others. Starting in his junior year of high school rocking out Counter Strike 1.1 and learning the in’s and out’s of the hardware of a computer, he quickly discovered his love for technology and general geekery. That love turned into a talent for wiring, electronics, operating systems, networking and a successful career in IT. Having been a co-founder of two other internet media projects, Wess was extremely excited to become a part of The New Tech. Always trying to be an active member of his previous communities, Wess is a big proponent of community interaction. Not just conversations and e-mails, but actual community driven projects and content. |
